At Tar Landing, we believe children are a gift from God. Our passion is to help them know Jesus, love His Word, and grow in a faith that lasts. In a safe, caring, and fun environment, kids discover who God is, learn what it means to follow Him, and build friendships that encourage them along the way.

We’re not just providing childcare—we’re laying a foundation of faith that points every child to Christ.

What We Have
  • Nursery - Child care is available for children from birth to 4th birthday during all services.
  • Children's Worship - On Sunday mornings, children ages 4 - 6 will be dismissed for Children's Worship.
  • Mission Friends - On Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00. For children from 2 to 4 years old.
  • Word of Life - Join us on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00. For children from 4 years old to 6th grade.

Every Sunday, your kids will walk away knowing more about God’s love and how they can live it out—even at a young age.

Word of Life

At Tar Landing, we believe children are not just the church of tomorrow—they are a vital part of the church today. Word of Life Kids is designed to help children know God’s Word, grow as disciples of Jesus, and live out their faith with joy.

Each week, kids experience biblical teaching, worship, Scripture memory, and fun activities that point them to Christ. Surrounded by caring leaders and friends, they are encouraged to treasure the gospel, grow in community, and begin living on mission—even at a young age.
